I had actually just found out that Quincy Jones' Summer in The City was the sample for The Pharcyde's Passing Me. Which is one of my favorite samples of all time. Today Cookin Soul did this Jay-Z Lil Wayne Remix of their song Hello Brooklyn. I am hoping to go to NYC in two weeks for the weekend and am so stoked I love NYC and the east coast much more than Cali...so to say the least I can't wait!
