Gatorade Michael Jordan That’s G Art Bottle Commercial and Making of Video
About a week ago I posted some images of the MJ Gatorade mosaic light bright of his signature dunk. Like I said before it is made up of over 14,000 Gatorade limited edition Jordan series bottles. The people at Gatorade have a new catch phrase that is G! And you know what this shit is straight G. This is the type of Art that I am into. It's the kind of thing that I like to see in person. Gatorade Michael Jordan “That’s G” Art Bottle commercial will officially air this upcoming Sunday. Here is a early sneak preview for ya as well as the making of video showing the idea to the finish project.

NSW Fall 09 Collection
Nike Sportswear's NSW fall 09 collection has begun to hit select retailers. I just bought a NSW Tee at the 21 Mercer store while I was in NYC. I must say that it is one of the most comfortable shirts i've ever worn. Products included in this first drop of the fall 09 collection are the NSW tee, NSW Featherweight Windrunner, Boston FZ Hoody, and Best Windrunner Hoody. Being that this the NSW Pinnacle Collection, each piece features some added details or technology including waterproof RiRi zippers, sonic welded pockets and seams, and extremely lightweight material. The bird shirt is so fly. I have a NSW hoody and it is soo comfortable E always takes it from me. These new ones look cool.

Song of the Day : Dead Prez "Summertime"
Dead Prez are the truth. They bring that refreshing sound back to hip hop. The sound of knowledge and wisdom and the things that are important. Not of money and having fancy shit. This song is great perfect for the summertime with that laid back vibe you can groove to. The chorus is dope and so are all the verses just what you expect from the duo. I love the video as well. I was just in NYC a couple of weeks ago for two days. It was absolutely amazing I felt such an energy while in the city like I was home. Its always been a dream of mine to live in NYC the city can be so BEA utiful especially in the summer!
All Points West Music Festival
Damn this is a pretty damn good music festival. I wish I knew about it a little bit before this. I mean the first day is my birthday and its the best day! Jay-Z & Q-Tip! Come on I look for festivals with a hip-hop intensive line-up and here it is...Sunday is pretty sick too Coldplay & the Black Keys. I wish I could figure out a way to go. I mean I am going to be in Connecticut then...

Song of the Day : Big Sean "Getcha Some"
This is a sick video by Hype Williams. I hope one day my name could be as big as his is in any kind of video production. I like the effect in the video some of it is a lil over done at times but overall I think its done well. Alright so Kanye is in the video. I thought he might have a verse in the song but no. I don't mind seeing Yay he is a genius and one of my favorite artist. But I don't want him to turn into a Puff Daddy and be all up in the videos of his artist. Big Sean is a great up in coming artist.

Song of the Day : Twista Feat. Erika Shevon "Wetter"
Twista is one of the best in the game he has been around for years now. One of the first to come out of Chicago a major city for Hip Hop heavy weights now. He just dropped a new album and this is a fresh track off of it. Sexual of course just Twista's style him and Joey Stacks are just all about it. I love the lady singing the background part she kills it.

Michael Jordan Mosaic Constructed From 19,000+ Bottles of Gatorade
Gatorade the sports drink maker unveiled a mosaic of His Airness’ signature dunk earlier this week. Situated in the basketball court on the South Side on Jordan’s hometown, Chicago. The massive mosaic is made of 19,000+ bottles of the sport drink itself, including the 6 limited Jordan bottles, in different flavors. A backlight platform permit light to shrine through each bottle, creating a “lite brite” effect on the mosaic. The shit is sooo dope. I would love to see it in person.
Mystery Team Trailer
I didn't know if this was a real movie or not. Its full of no body actors but the trailers make it look so damn funny! The first trailer is put together so well in my opinion...

Nike SB - Zoom Stefan Janoski SB - Reed/Stone Colorway
The Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski Reed/Stone is the new July colorway is now available at skate shops with Nike account around the globe. This shoe isn’t like any other SB sneakers, at least on appearance. Created for team rider Stefan Janoski, the shoe takes a causal theme, with influences from boat shoe and other summer perennials than its counter part. Despite its look, however, it is still a functional skate shoe. A Zoom Air sole provides comfort and cushioning while the overlay of suede provide protection against abrasion and other skate-related injuries. And they look fly too boot. The Reed/Stone colorway is so fresh the best colorway i've seen in this already amazing dope shoe. The Green plaid lining is soooo dope I want a matching shirt especially if it's made by Nike!
Debacle Nike SB Video
Nike Skateboarding has released its first time ever free HD video online for downloading about a month ago and at this point, there are only 4 days left so be quick to download it before it disappears. The video features the amatuer skaters on the Nike SB roster and it is offered in 720p, 480p or iPod. Spanning 24minutes long, the 10 month project takes you to different sports around the world. The video is dope and has some pretty incredible shots in my opinion. Nike SB is def stepping up their game.
The video features Justin Brock, Daryl Angel, David Clark, Grant Taylor, Shane O’Neill and Theotis Beasley who all give incredible performances. There are still shots of them available online too for viewing and downloading as wall papers. Don’t miss out on the making and behind the scenes footage as well.

Nike Terminator Hi Supreme by Swagger
Finally the Nike Terminator Hi designed by swagger that first released overseas has an upcoming US release. The Terminator Hi’s are dipped in reptile patent leather to preserve them in chocolate-mint condition. This tacky but tactful pair will hit top Nike accounts July 25th. Holding a premium pricetag of $140, people in NYC can expect 21 Mercer to carry a limited run. Which sucks because while I was in NYC I got to go to 21 Mercer which was dope I got a fly Nike Sports Wear T, but I didn't really think they had any special kicks but if I was there when they had these they'd be on my feet.
Home Sweet Home
I just got back to the good old A... Atlanta GA that is. For about the past two weeks ive been out of town. I went with my mom to visit my Grandma in NJ we took a trip up to Cape Cod Mass. and went all over the Cape for about a week. It was pretty cool they have been having an off season this year. Lots of rain and not that much heat. But even if it wasn't an off season I am sure it is never like the summers down here. People walk around in sweat shirts and pants and the water looks so cold. But the landscape is BEAutiful!
After that I went to stay with E at her house in Cont. I WAS AN AMAZING TIME! E's house is soooo BEAutiful! Her family is great they are good people. Her friends are chill as shit. For anyone who has ate E's cooking then you know she has got skills. Her mom who she learned to cook from should have her own cooking show. I never ate a bad meal the whole time I was there. She made a coffee cake and a birthday cake for E that could easily win an award. Food aside Connecticut was so awesome we went out on her friend Willy's boat on the Connecticut River and jumped off cliffs and did a rope swing it was BADASS.
E's family friend was out of town and let us stay in his nice as fuck 27th floor apt in Chelsea NYC for a couple of nights. It was tight. We both just couldn't stop talking about how much of ballers we felt like. Her Cuz Jonathan took us out to Lunch at this Club he is a member at. We took an elevator to the roof and it was a straight roof top restaurant with a pool and gorgeous people around it. It was straight G a scene out of Entourage. Later that day he called E and put us on a list for John Forte's CD opening party. For those of you who don't know John Forte was a member of the Fugees until in 2000, Forté was arrested at Newark International Airport after accepting a briefcase containing $1.4 million worth of liquid cocaine; he was charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine and conspiracy to distribute. He was convicted and sentenced to the mandatory minimum 14 years. He got out in 2008. But anyways the party was dope free drinks from 7 to 9 it was in a basement part of the bar which was so G like straight balling swanky. A badass crowd like only family and friends fucking Talib Kweli was there!
But to make a long story short I had a great time these past two weeks and now I got a bunch of stuff to before school starts!
LIKE FUCKING MOVE!

Happy Late 4th of July
I just wanted to say happy late 4th of july to everyone! Yesterday I probably had one of the best 4th of julys in the past three years...It was so amazing to spend it with all my brothers and sisters at 311. It is such a big bonding experience and full of so much love and unity! The tailgate in the parking lot was out of control we had great friends, food, beer, pong and anything else you could ask for. I got to see some old and new friends and just chill and kick back in the good vibes. And thanks to my man Bekim we had a slip n slide which was AWESOME! I don't think there has ever been anything like that at a 311 tailgate before!
The show was amazing and intense...I ended up getting snuck into the pit and watch most of Ziggy from there and almost all of 311 so crazy! My first show in the pit in Atlanta! But it was awesome when I came out of the pit and into the arms of my brothers and sisters in the lawn, you can't ask for a better welcome from all you friends! Oh and the fireworks at the end were such a topper!
Great time I love all of you!

Anti-Paparazzi Clutch Bag
Photos? No, thanks! This Crazy Clutch Bag is designed so you will NOT be photographed. It is an LED flash built-into a clutch purse, when the device detects a camera flash it will send out a brighter flash to blind the camera. Designed by Adam Harvey.
"Although Harvey began developing the device for his class, he wasn't able to perfect it, and since last fall he has continued to refine the design. Currently the wiring and batteries fit in a ladies clutch, but he hopes to continue reducing the size of the device to the point that it could be worn in something as small as a pendant or tie tack. In its current form the device is activated by powering it on and then tilting the clutch. The sensor will register a flash being fired from up to a 45 degree angle each way. The device works at up to 1/125 shutter speed, thus effecting slower, low-light shots. " Harvey is currently working on the patent for the anti-paparazzi device, and continues to refine the design as well.
Song of the Day : The Drifters "Magic Moment"
I listened to this the other day in the car. It is just a plain classic. I know most people will remember it from The Sand Lot. But on the real reason for the song it just reminded me of my girl...I can't wait to be in Connecticut with E!
This magic moment
So different and so new
Was like any other
Until I met you
And then it happened
It took me by suprise
I knew that you felt it too
I could see it by the look in your eyes
Sweeter than wine
Softer than a summer's night
Everything I want, I have
Whenever I hold you tight
This magic moment,
While your lips are close to mine,
Will last forever,
Forever, 'til the end of time
So different and so new
Was like any other
Until I met you
And then it happened
It took me by suprise
I knew that you felt it too
I could see it by the look in your eyes
Sweeter than wine
Softer than a summer's night
Everything I want, I have
Whenever I hold you tight
This magic moment,
While your lips are close to mine,
Will last forever,
Forever, 'til the end of time

Song of the Day : Drake "Best I Ever Had"
I think i'll let the video speak for itself. I didn't listen to Drake when he was first starting to make some noise out there. But if Kanye reps em and directs his videos ill check em out. Not bad not bad at all.
Baby you my everything you all i ever wanted.
We can do it real big.
Bigger then you ever done it.
You be up on everything.
Other hoes ain't never on it.
I want this forever, i swear i can spend whatever on it.
Cause she hold me down everytime i hit her up.
When i get right i promise that we gon live it up.
She make me beg for it till she give it up.
And I say the same thing every single time.
I say you the fucking best.
You the fucking best.
You the fucking best.
You the fucking best.
You the best i ever had.
Best I ever had.
Best I ever had.
Best I ever had.
I say you the fucking.
Shawty, I'll be over there
I'll be hitting all the spots that u ain't even know was there
Ha. And you ain't even have to ask twice
You can have my heart or we can share it like the last slice
The Informant!
In theaters: October 9, 2009
Check out the trailer HERE or Down Here.
For those of you who don't know Matt Damon is one funny guy. IN his new movie the informant he plays Mark Whitacre a rising star at agri-industry giant Archer Daniels Midland (ADM), Whitacre suddenly turns whistleblower. Even as he exposes his company’s multi-national price-fixing conspiracy to the FBI, Whitacre envisions himself being hailed as a hero of the common man and handed a promotion. But before all that can happen, the FBI needs evidence, so Whitacre eagerly agrees to wear a wire and carry a hidden tape recorder in his briefcase, imagining himself as a kind of de facto secret agent. Unfortunately for the FBI, their lead witness hasn’t been quite so forthcoming about helping himself to the corporate coffers. Whitacre’s ever-changing account frustrates the agents and threatens the case against ADM as it becomes almost impossible to decipher what is real and what is the product of Whitacre’s rambling imagination. Based on the true story of the highest-ranking corporate whistleblower in U.S. history.

There has been alot of way better vampire stuff coming out recently. Two-time Academy Award nominee® Ethan Hawke plays Edward Dalton, a researcher in the year 2019, in which an unknown plague has transformed the world’s population into vampires. As the human population nears extinction, vampires must capture and farm every remaining human, or find a blood substitute before time runs out. However, a covert group of vampires makes a remarkable discovery, one which has the power to save the human race.

Austin City Limits 09 Please!
I was informed today by my good friend Azon that Austin City Limits looks pretty damn badass this year. So I thought i'd check it out for myself and you know what? It looks pretty damn badass.
The only thing that sucks is that they are out of three day passes so you have to buy each day singly and they are $85 a day so that equals $255 if you go to all the days, which I believe we are talking about doing. If you are interested in going to the festival please let me know because the more the merry and probably the cheaper things will cost all of us in the long run. It takes place the weekend of October 2-4 and would be soooooo much fun! Check out the lineup and let me know what you think. I am being serious when I say we are considering going to this!
Check out more info about it HERE.
