Song of the Day Frank Ocean "Acura Integurl"

Frank Ocean is the first member of Odd Future that I have liked.  I have been listening to this song on repeat. Lyrically it is a simple song, but I love what he has to say. I think the video is sick too. I drove home from he movies in Buckhead last night and driving through the city lights at night made me want to shoot a music video like this!

To begin his foray into music videos, Odd Future’s talented singer-songwriter teamed up with Dave Wilson to film for an unexpected song. Instead of shooting for one of the many great tracks off of his tape, Frank decided to take an emotional, scenic ride into the hills behind the wheel of an orange Acura NSX for “Acura Integurl,” a song he put out on his Tumblr prior to the release of ULTRA. Despite the several dedications that have made their way to the blogs, this is Frank’s first official video.

I am beyond excited for the IAMDONALD show on May 6th. I am pretty sure I am the only going since no one bought tickets when I told them to and they are sold out now! This new song from Mos Def is entitled World Premiere, definitely a fitting title, because this is the first time this song has been heard by the general public. The song is produced by Madlib and I have to say I am loving it. A new solid Mos album would be awesome after the disappointing Lupe album...

New Childish Gambino EP

Childish Gambino dropped his new EP yesterday. It is only five songs I wish it was longer but I guess it's only an EP. The first two songs are dope, Freaks & Geeks goes extra hard.  His show on May 6th at Variety Playhouse is going to be sick, I am really excited about it!  If you don't have your ticket I suggest you go get one only $22(thats including service charges).  Its his home town show so I hope he goes off!

I am so excited Donald Glover's Comedy tour and Childish Gambino Concert series is coming to the Variety Playhouse in Lil Five on May 6th! I have Two finals that day, but driving into ATL and seeing the show will be the perfect way to celebrate being that much closer to graduation! Quinn Silvernale by Hannibal Matthews

I was told to check out this cool Atlanta photographer Hannibal Matthews after he took some pictures of a friend of mine Quinn Silvernale a couple of weeks ago. Well here is the photo and its pretty damn cool. Its great to see someone who works as hard as Quinn at his passion getting more press and coverage. My eye for graphic design and it as an art form has been on the raise for the past couple of years(for given reasons). Epic Road Trip

Generic Surpuls: Work Boot

Generic Surplus is a company that I fully support and enjoy their products. The latest from the Generic Man spinoff Generic Surplus gives a light work boot inspiration to a high top sneaker. On the bottom, it combines a traditional sneaker midsole with some light traction lugs. And the upper has the obvious work but cut, helped out by triple-stitching and a raised-seam toebox construction. The Work Boot comes in two shades of suede, both following the design guidelines of the traditional workboot; there’s a standard tan suede, and a brighter, almost Nantucket Red colorway. As always, branding is minimal – just a tonal rubber tag at the heel a very clean shoe and company. Either are a good option for a Winter sneaker...
