The State of things...

It has only been summer for a couple of weeks now and I feel like I haven't sat still very much. It is best for me to always be in a constant state of motion. I like having things to do and doing things you know. Recently I have gone to a Braves game, moved all my stuff to my place I am living next year, i've gone shopping for summer threads for Cali, went to temple with my mom, and recently I went to KSAW to chill with the FAMILIA. While in KSAW I went and ate at El Nopalito with my homegirl Haley. El Nop is amazing family owned and ran from the Grandfather to the grandson and the service and food are above and beyond! I also finally got to see Iron Man 2 last night and it was dope!

Anyways...I got some really nice new threads for CALI. Day one of shopping I went to Lenox and got a new fedora with a small brim, a pair of khaki colored pants that feel like light weight jeans, two pairs of cheap sunglasses(because I lost my Nike's Kayaking) one pair looks like wayfarers and one pair like 70's aviators, a new Braves 59/50 to rep my city, a Nike ATL T-shirt to rep my city, and probably my favorite purchase these Generic Surplus Chukkas. I have been wanting a pair of chukkas for awhile and these were on sale and dope. They work well with both pants and shorts so they are great for summertime. The next day of shopping was at the J. Crew outlet after I went and visited my people at Nike. There I copped a skinny black tie, a couple of button up shirts, a pair of grey shorts, a striped v-neck and the new Jaspe Jersey v-neck. Just new clothes goofin'...trying to look fresh in Cali ya dig...

Feels Good To Be Home..Feels Good To Be Home

Damn I haven't seen this skyline since December! As soon as it came into sight a smile came across my face I love my city so much and am going to try to take advantage of it before I leave for Cali for the entire summer...the last couple of weeks have been pretty crazy...trying to finish up the semester, figure out where I am living in LA and everything else that goes into me leaving GA for two months to live all the way across the country! The closer it gets here the more and more excited I get about it! I can't wait to be in Cali, experience life and things that i've never been around and learn my craft and meet like minded people who have the same goals and aspirations. But at the same time I hope that I am able to spend these last two weeks in GA seeing all my friends and family as much as possible and enjoy the lil GA summer that I have because it'll all be missed to say the least!
The picture walls at the house on haunted hill its crazy I haven't been there since october...it was nice to be in my old stomping grounds even if just for a night and afternoon. Looking at the picture walls was bananas I never realized how many photos of me were on the walls and how many amazing times I had in KSAW. It truly was a home for three years and I had a great family there. MISS AND LOVE ALL MY KSAW AND TNC FAMILY. ONELOVE...

Thoughts of the Day: September 6, 2009

So yesterday was the first day of College football! I am not what you'd call the normal college football fan. I would def say I am more of a professional sports fan. They are the best of the best that is why they are professionals.

I always hate when people say they don't like professional sports because the players are all about the money. Are you joking me. Every sport is all about the money from Middle Schol & High School all the way to College! Except in non-professional sports the players aren't the ones making the money, everyone else is making money off of the players talents--from the schools to the coaches and everyone in between. Don't for a second think that college athletes are playing for the hope that one day they will get to be a PRO and make money off of their talents, the talents that other people have been making money off of since they were in middle school! I know their might be exceptions but they are few and far between!

To get back on track...I am not one of those people who are just going to watch every and any college football game because it is a Saturday in the fall. My favorite College team is Norte Dame. If you ask me why here are the reasons: 1. Deep down it probably has to do with the fact that me and my brother watched RUDY at a very young age. Norte Dame Soon became my brothers favorite and as lil brothers and big brother go it soon became mine. 2. I am from Irish decent and its hard not to root for a team with the mascot The Fighting Irish. 3. They are one of the oldest teams in college sports with a storied past and legacy, and they have the most National Championships in the NCAA with 11 (1924, 1929, 1930, 1943, 1946, 1947, 1949, 1966, 1973, 1977, 1988). 4. They are just Badass.

For a long time I have not been a UGA football fan. Through out High School I would hate on UGA all the time. For the most part because they just seemed like the bandwagon school. Everyone was just a GA fan because it was the thing to do. Even if they didn't know a damn thing about football. I have lots of friends who are die hard fans and they have reason that make sense to me--1. Their parents are siblings went to school there. 2. Their parents or siblings were fans of the school. I have heard so many times that I should be a fan of UGA because I am from GA. To me that makes no sense there are alot of college football teams in GA. Does that mean I should be a fan of GA Tech or GA Southern because I am from GA? NO. In the past couple years UGA has grown on me. I've gone to games and watched many on TV with my friends who are die hard fans, and now I am a BULLDOG myself! So I guess its time to root for UGA HARD!

Now yesterday was a very disappointing game for the Bulldogs. They lost to a none SEC team opening game of the season. But this is a rebuilding year and everyone in Bulldog nation needs to know this. I have faith they can pull out some wins this year. Yesterday ND and UGA were playing at the same time luckily we were able to set up two tvs next to each other and have both games on. And to be honest at some point I wish I could've switched to volume to the ND game because they beat some ass yesterday! 35 to nothing it was great to see them play at such a high caliber. I haven't seen a ND team like that since Brady Quinn was their a few years back. Hopefully this will be a return to their legacy and a bowl game win!

As you can see from my picture above I am pumped for next weekends bulldogs home season opener against USC. Since I am a new transfer student at UGA I didn't get tickets to all the games(it sucks). I know freshman that got all the tickets so it doesn't really make much sense to me. I was able to buy a ticket to the game and can't wait. E's! brother is coming down from USC were he goes to school and I hope JMEG and some of the KSAW crew come up as well. Will and Josh told me they'd be here so its going to be a packed house and t he more the merrier! It is going to be insane! A night time game--I am sure we are all going to be so shitty by the time the game starts!

And you know what USC is gonna feel the BULLDOG BITE!

Thoughts of the Day: September 2, 2009

Damn its been a minute since I did a thought of the day. I apologize to everyone (even though I have no idea how many people actually look at my blog). The reason I started this blog was out of boredom and to be honest I guess it takes me being in a real state of boredom to actually write some real heartfelt stuff. I know that technology def takes away from more personal communication. I have to work on talking to my people more personally. I am going to try my best to see as many of you in person or talk to you on the phone as I can.

Get ready this is a long one...

I have been having a strange couple of weeks. The school year started about three weeks ago now. This is no ordinary year. Most of you know I transfered to UGA. I like it here. Its pretty cool to live in a real college town with a DT("downtown" got to learn that local lingo) and go to a big university with a football team and all. Its just been strange to not be surrounded by the things I have grown accustomed to(the house on haunted hill, TNC Crew & thursday nights, 4 day school weeks, the surrounding KSAW area--socially and economically). I truly do miss my KSAW Brothers & Sisters things aren't the same with out you. Much love to all of you(Joey, Jimbo, Jordan, Haley, Kevin, Katie, Zon, Chris, Jon, Max, Carver, Sean & everyone else). I know I have alots of good friends from high school here in athens with all my brothers from Henry. Its just going to take some time to get use to hittin them up to chill.

I know E is doing her best to make me feel at home. But I am sure me being here is not always the easiest for her. She has been working on a Life and routine here for the past couple of years that didn't include me.

I told E
Hey mona lisa
come home
you know you can't rome without caesar
rome around rome in a rova
if hova was on this track
yo we'd be taking ova
Just know I love you girl
like I want some more of ya

Locally and Globally Swine Flu and sickness has been spreading! It is the buzz on most big college campuses. Early this week I got the beginning of a cold. I hate being sick like I am sure everyone does. But it seems like everyone I hang with has this bug! I have been doing everything I can to fight it. I feel like I am at a solid 88% I just want to feel that "A" get to around a 95% ya dig!

Today was one of those days I just wanted to move to LA and start my life working in entertainment! This past July I turned 22. I have SO MUCH I want to do in Life and it is def moving fast. I find myself being interested in a new form of media(entertainment not the news) and art everyday. Sometimes I fill like life is going by me without me doing anything with it.
I spend alot of my time on the internet (like most people my age) looking at famous/the people in places that I want to be one day doing the things that I want to do. Like this guy Maestro(check out his blog if you are into stuff like me). He is at the level that I want to be at in a couple of years. Living in LA traveling, filming and editing. Straight up just mingling with all kinds of creative people and getting to know them and their craft.
Which brings me to one of my earlier points: I am taking some classes this semester and next that have me very excited about my future. I truly believe that the education I am going to get at UGA is going to help me be the man I want to be one day. I just need to start the whole being more OPEN-- to new people to new things to learn something new every day and strive to be the best that I can be. Notorious said it best "The Sky is the Limit". And I want it all! OneLove...

Oh shit winning the Lotto tomorrow would be legit too!

Ping Pong Door

This is something that every college student needs. A door that can turn into a ping pong table. I don't know if beer pong would transfer good on to this but I mean it would be worth a try.

Chucks

Yo so recently i've have noticed more and more people rocking Converse around me.  I have been rockin chucks for years now and so has my girl E and my boy Jimbo.  Two of my friends to remain nameless have just bought their first pair.  They are timeless shoes and in my opinion can be wore anywhere at anytime...very dress casual.

The Dynamic Duo KD & E=MC

Pictured here is my fiance, Natalie Portman leaving a restaurant in London, sporting a pair of white Chuck Taylors. Thoughts of the Day: March 26, 2009

So I thought that i'd start a new daily to weekly entry called "thoughts of the day".  Basically I'm just going to get out some of whats going on put my thoughts out there.  Today I woke up at 7am like every tuesday and thursday to go to my 8am class and it was raining and kind of cold out...never a good way to start the day.  Which brings me to my first thought: when people say they like when it rains...I just don't get it, the only time it is nice when it rains is when you don't have jack shit to do and you can just stay inside all day sleep in and preferable be with a special someone...Id like to just watch movies the whole time as well...however when is this ever the case normally you have to get up and go to work or school...and to top it off people drive like idiots in the rain, i've seen two accidents today already!  To my second thought: I have been to lazy or or busy recently(probably a combo) due to this I didn't buy a new battery when I was told to.  So this is how my morning story begins...after hearing about someone having a chick-fila chicken biscuit earlier this week I knew I had to get one...after class I went to chick-fila the drive-thru was around the store so I went inside and bought two chicken egg and cheese biscuits(the best thing to happen to breakfast since sliced pork) little did I know that I left my lights on.  When I got back to my car it would not start.  FUCK!  It's now pouring down rain and I got no options.  I waited 20 minuets ate one biscuit and then had to call my boi J Kicks AKA Jordan Kinnick to come jump me.  Good lookin.  By then the rain had stopped thank GOD! I drove to Wal-Mart(home of some of the scumest people i've ever seen) and bought a battery and had them put it in since its raining and I have no idea where tools are at the house on haunted hill.  Oh while there the three mechanics(a profession I have mad respect for since my father is one) 2 white 1 black started some how talking about Obama and making fun of him...I didn't really understand what was going on.  They were just saying "change" a bunch of times in funny voices it was odd to say the least.  You'd think my story would be over by then but it wasn't.  As I was driving away the radio wouldn't play and it said CODE on the screen...come to find out Honda's have a feature where if your car gets disconnected from power you must enter in a security code to make it work again to keep your stereo from being jacked.  I couldn't find my code and had to wait till I got home to call the dealership and get it from them.  I must say it was quite an eventful morning and therefore I didn't get to take my 3 hour nap before my next class.  I am going to be BEAT tonite which sucks cause it's Thursday and you know it's going down!  Shout out to my TNC brother for coming through and helping me out this morning to everyone else get ready for tonite!  To my boi Jimbo you'll be missed and i'll drink a couple extra beers for you...OneLove.

"Blame It"

Good Song/ Great Video.
You know you can always blame it on the...

Song of the Day: Asher Roth "I love College"

Who doesn't love college when it's like this and not class and what not.

"i am champion at beer pong
