Aloe Blacc & The Grand Scheme "Loving You Is Killing Me" Live In-Studio

Aloe Blacc will be releasing his new LP, Good Things, on September 28th. In this clip, Aloe Blacc & The Grand Scheme give us a live in-studio performance of one of the tracks off the album, "Loving You Is Killing Me." A month ago I posted a video of Aloe performing this song live on the French TV program Le Grand Journal. I think its cool to see that he still brings that same live energy into the studio...It is a great song and I can't wait for the album to drop.

Yeezys Back!

Kanye performs new material for a group at Facebook today. Standing on a plain white office table in a conference room, West just raps. I can't wait for his new album to drop, should be a return to hip-hop for yeezy!

Kid Cudi at the Bape Store

Kid Cudi is rising to be one of my favorite artist. All his songs are dope. I feel like his lyrics deal a lot with lives struggles and things that are relatable to me. He's not just talking about money, possessions and girls, and I like that. Every song that has leaked leading up to the September release of his sophomore LP, Man on The Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager has been fresh. In this video Cudi goes back to the Bape store in SOHO, NYC where he use to work and performs "REVOFEV". Cudi also talks about his time at Bape and about being on that Grind. I like when people talk about their struggles and what they had to do before they made it. Makes me feel good about my grind right now...I also saw that How to Make it in America got picked up for a second season so thats awesome!

The Temper Trap

I came across The Temper Trap the other day when we were sharing music videos in the office. They are a really good new band from Melbourne. You might recognize the second song "Sweet Disposition" from the film 500 Days of Summer. Anyways sometimes its hard for me to get away from my musical bread in butter that is HIp-Hop. For the most part i'd rather just put on some Tribe or Outkast and just sit back and know I'm going to love what I hear. Recently I have been trying to get out of my comfort zone and listen to music from different genres than Hip-Hop. Temper Trap just feels right for many reasons. The main being that they have a very U2esque sound and I grew up with U2 i've seen them twice in concert and love them. (There are many people from my generation who hate on U2 and don't give them the respect they deserve. But without U2 you wouldn't have bands like Coldplay, Kings of Leon and now The Temper Trap and thats a fact. Go Listen to The Joshua Tree and while your at it check out The Temper Trap...OneLove

Nike SB August 2010 Apparel

Nike SB drops its pre-fall apparel and accessories for August. The colorways are mainly cool greys and navy, and the collection of items includes a shiny varsity jacket, crewneck sweat shirt and button downs. I think my favorite part of the line is the Dri-Fit Biggie T-Shirt.

Ski Beatz "Cream of The Planet" feat. Mos Def

Mos Def has been one of my top five artist and MC's for over a decade now.  He is the epitome of cool plan and simple.  The only other person who can compare to his level of coolness is Andre 3000.
