I am a gigantic fan of the Tribe. They are by far one of the most influential hip-hop groups of all time. I can put on a Tribe song at anytime and enjoy it. So to say the least I am definitely looking forward to Beats Rhymes & Life: The Travels of A Tribe Called Quest. This is a documentary that looks at documents the inner workings and the behind the scenes drama that follows the Queens, New York hip hop band A Tribe Called Quest. The Doc explores what's next for, what many claim, are the pioneers of alternative rap. Beats Rhymes & Life is premiering at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival, where it will be looking for a distributor. I can't wait!
