This year, Nike ACG celebrates its 20th Anniversary of making it in the great outdoors and continue to purvey some of the best outdoor gear for those who get their adrenaline kick from mountaineering. For its Holiday 2009 collection, Nike ACG will be releasing a great Expedition 3-Layer Jacket, celebrating the legendary 1978 expedition on East Ridge of K2 (from which Nike ACG was born).
The highly technical and stylish tan jacket features graphics based on the infamous peak and “1978″ and “K2″ are incorporated into a logo which adorns the left chest. An inspirational quote “Boundaries are set by dictators” (also one of the first slogans of Nike ACG) appear on the jacket. Other thoughtful technical details include water resistant zippers, hook for lift tickets or gloves and numerous pockets and compartments secured by zippers.
